Why test after you've casted? Isn't it suppose to be before casting so you know if to adjust your mix? Secondly, is it at every casting or site you also cast cubes? If using same granite size, same ratio, same everything on another site, do you still need to test?

This is not quality control, this test should have been done before the actual project. Not simultaneously

Excellent explanation of the process. Casting the required number of cubes (including those for the regulator) and tracking compressive strength is non-negotiable for professional site management
