Also ruins the sport for fans if you’re interested in that sort of thing

Unless moving up (Utah, TCU) moving laterally has not worked. Mizzou, basically the same or worse. TAMU, worse. Nebraska, worse. Colorado, worse. USC, Cal, and Stanford feeling it now. Miami just got better in the ACC. Same with Va Tech. Just grow where you are planted.

Other than the fact they have 3 times the money of their old non b10 peers like cal and Stanford These guys are the stay off my lawn guys of college sports Old, useless and not very funny

IIRC, Conference realignment has never worked out for anyone outside of FSU joining the acc

Finally a guy that gets it! Ha the truth hurts people now live with what you created!

Because your employer & Fox will pay more?

ESPN

It makes me think fsu Miami Clemson’s home is in the ACC and I don’t think it’s as bad as they make it sound. Right now Miami can cruise to the playoffs. Why mess with that?

Amen

I’ve been saying this. They want to bitch about not making the playoff and argue about their strength of conference. Should’ve stayed put

Well there are 18 teams in the Big 10. Essentially if you finish Top 5 and you’re USC, most likely you finish in the Top 3 in the PAC 12 Let’s add these terrible preseason games that are cupcakes I’m not wasting my time with

You should ask ESPN and Fox this question You know the answer

My guess is what you choose to measure for “success” is the issue. Many seem to look at increased revenue stream(s) and stop there.

The NFL-ification of CFB has also happened with the expanded playoff. (Will continue when the CFP goes to 24 💵) They stopped trying to determine who the “best” CFB team was each year and opted for “who can win a postseason tournament”.

Poor USC cant just squeak by by playing mid level teams like Cal and Stanford anymore
