📹🚨🗣️| Fabrizio Romano on Marcus Rashford and Barcelona: “In the last 24 hours, the message coming from Barcelona is that in communications they had with Rashford’s camp, is that they already told Rashford they would love to continue with him beyond this season. Rashford is on loan, €30M buy option clause not mandatory, but Barcelona already told Rashford, that they’re very happy with him. United know that Barcelona are interested in keeping Rashford. The timing is still too early, because at the moment Barca aren’t going to trigger the €30M buy option now. Barcelona internally have already communicated with Rashford about the intention to keep him.” #MUFC

🚨 Fabrizio Romano drops huge Julian Alvarez update: Barcelona move almost done after player insists on the transfer! Fabrizio Romano: Julian Alvarez to Barcelona is becoming a very interesting situation. 🗣️ The latest news reaching me is that Julian Alvarez is still pushing for Barcelona. The player has made his preference very clear, he wants the move. Nothing is done yet. There is no agreement to announce, and we have not received anything concrete that would allow us to say the deal is completed. But the important point is that Alvarez is insisting on Barcelona. He wants this move. And that is why the deal is not dead. Barcelona are still in the picture because the player himself continues to push for the transfer. Now, this is where things could become complicated. If Alvarez continues making it clear that Barcelona is his priority, Atlético Madrid will have a very difficult situation on their hands. Do they keep a player who desperately wants to leave, or do they sit down with Barcelona and find a solution? For now, we have to be careful, nothing is done. But one thing is becoming increasingly clear: Julian Alvarez wants Barcelona, and he is not giving up on the move. And if the player continues pushing like this, could Barcelona be about to pull off one of the biggest transfer surprises of the summer? 👀

🚨 Arsenal’s Transfer Plans Remain in Full Motion Arsenal are NOT slowing down in the market despite the pre-hijack in the Morgan Rogers deal. It is important to understand that Arsenal are working on multiple options and will not allow one difficult negotiation to derail their summer plans. The Gunners have also made checks on Yan Diomande to fully understand the player’s situation. Although the player has publicly made it clear that his preference is a move to PSG, Arsenal are quietly entering the race and closely monitoring developments. As for Julián Álvarez, Arsenal are more than ready to make their move if the opportunity arises. Atlético Madrid are not keen on selling the Argentine to Barcelona, and Arsenal are carefully assessing the entire situation. The club are confident they can position themselves strongly should a move to Barcelona fail to materialise. Arsenal remain active, Arsenal remain ambitious, and their pursuit of attacking reinforcements is far from over. 🔴⚪️

🚨 FABRIZIO ROMANO ON JULIÁN ÁLVAREZ: “ARSENAL COULD BE THE NEXT DESTINATION!” 🗣️ fabrizio romano: “Julián Álvarez to Arsenal? I’m told the situation is becoming very interesting. The player is not interested in signing a new deal with Atlético Madrid, and his priority remains Barcelona. But here is where things could change dramatically. If Atlético Madrid continue to block Álvarez from making a move to Barcelona, Arsenal could become the next and most realistic option for the Argentine striker. Arsenal are monitoring the situation very closely, and Mikel Arteta remains a huge admirer of Álvarez. They believe he is the complete striker who can transform their attack. So, if Barcelona cannot make the deal happen and Atlético refuse to cooperate, Arsenal could suddenly find themselves in pole position. And let’s be honest, if Álvarez actually chooses Arsenal over Barcelona, that would be a massive statement. Atlético may be trying to keep their star, Barcelona may be his dream move, but Arsenal could be the club that walks away with the signing. 👀 Julián Álvarez to Arsenal… HERE WE GO SOON?

Barcelona arrived as I told you in the morning 45 million euros slightly in excess. The proposal from Barcelona according to my information was 45 million plus five in add-ons. This is what Barça are offering for Rodri. The answer from Manchester City was this is not enough. We are not accepting 50 million euros for Rodri. So at the moment no agreement on this transfer fee. But let me clarify one thing. This doesn’t mean that Rodri is now far from Barcelona that the deal is not happening that there is panic. This is a normal conversation. This is a normal negotiation. So now Barcelona are expected to return are expected to continue conversations with Man City for sure to improve their proposal and to try reach the agreement. Rodri told Manchester City I want to go to Barcelona. Rodri told Manchester City my desire is to go to Barcelona. So all parties involved expect Manchester City to continue conversations with Barcelona and to try find the best way possible for everyone involved. So Barça remain absolutely optimistic for Rodri. No panic at this stage.” 👀 New bid coming… special case still on! 🔵🔴 — Fabrizio Romano

• Manchester United are assessing their options for a third midfield signing. • Manu Koné remains one of the names under consideration, with contacts already made with his representatives, but no bid has been submitted to AS Roma and he is not the only option. • United are delighted with the signings of Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos, believing they’ve secured two top-quality midfielders for a combined £85m. • The priority is a defensive, physical profile capable of breaking up lines and be a very important addition in the squad. #MUFC [Fabrizio Romano]

Travis Kalanick: “AGI is not here yet, and it's silly for folks to say it is.” “When it comes to big companies, I think the big thing about, let's call it the autonomous enterprise, is change management. And change management is about all the people that already work there, the middle managers, the technocrats, the bureaucrats. The change management is a human thing. And it's very tricky with very complex processes, many of which are not even documented. And in theory, it's just all going to happen real fast. But in practice, that's hard. So that's part one. Part two, what I'm seeing with true tech companies, they are fired up about the development, the productivity, the deployment schedule, and the new features they're able to roll out much, much, much faster because they've pivoted their culture, sort of very pro-AI development. Now, there are folks selling their book that are like, ‘Oh, we're at AGI,’ and all this. Anybody who has worked with these agents and done the AI dev stuff, there's a lot of good stuff, but they're not that smart yet. They're just not that smart.”

🚨 Fabrizio Romano on Rodri to Real Madrid – Here We Go? 🔜 “Rodri has opened the door to only one club not Barcelona, not Chelsea, not Arsenal, but Real Madrid. Rodri wants Real Madrid, and Real Madrid want Rodri. Real Madrid have already submitted an opening offer of €50M to Manchester City for the Spanish midfielder. Manchester City are open to discussing a deal, but they are currently delaying negotiations as they hope other clubs could enter the race for Rodri, which would allow them to increase the transfer fee and create a bidding war. Real Madrid are fully aware of Manchester City’s strategy but remain optimistic about reaching an agreement. Manchester City value Rodri at around €80M and are hoping to receive a fee close to that amount before sanctioning his departure. At the moment, Real Madrid are unwilling to match City’s valuation and believe a lower fee is more reasonable given the player’s situation. Despite the gap in valuation, talks are expected to continue in the coming weeks, with Rodri’s desire to join Real Madrid seen as a key factor in the negotiations. Real Madrid view Rodri as the perfect midfielder to strengthen their squad and are prepared to remain patient as they work towards completing the deal. The deal is on, but there is still work to be done before the final green light arrives.”⏳⚪️

“We are not afraid of Israel. We fear only God.” Two Lebanese🇱🇧 women in the south stand in a roadside field selling bundles of asparagus, determined to keep working despite Israeli occupation threats and airstrikes overhead. They say life has become difficult, with fuel prices rising and work disappearing for many families, yet they continue to farm and sell what they can to survive. One of the women says the economic pressure is severe, but they refuse to abandon their land or live in fear. Even as aircraft fly above and the threat of Israeli attacks remains, they return to the fields each day to harvest asparagus and make a living. For them, leaving the south is not an option. eye.on.llebanon (IG)

🚨 NEW: Transfer update via Fabrizio Romano: • Spanish media rumors linking Gavi to Manchester United are completely false; Gavi is not leaving, both player and club are very happy, and a new contract discussion is possible in the coming months. • United are prioritizing a new left-back, with behind-the-scenes talks ongoing over several options. • Any midfield addition would only happen if the right opportunity arises, as they have already signed players such as Andréy Santos and Tielemans. • Michael Carrick is privately pushing the club for at least one more signing (possibly two). • United offered Bruno Fernandes a new contract in late May to head off interest from clubs like Galatasaray and other European sides; his current deal runs until June 2027, but talks continue over length, salary (factoring in Marcus Rashford’s high wages), and whether any release clause remains, as the club are determined to keep him.

🚨 Fabrizio Romano 🗣️Chelsea explored multiple options before going all-in for Marco Palestra. The Blues asked Roma about Brazilian full-back , who can play on both flanks, but Roma made it clear he is not for sale and want to keep him. With that door closed, Chelsea accelerated their pursuit of Marco Palestra and are now pushing to get the deal over the line. Chelsea are also tracking as they continue their search for a centre-back. He is one of several names on the shortlist, with four or five defenders being considered. The Blues spoke to during discussions involving Trevoh Chalobah, and also enquired about Jacobo Ramón. Real Madrid still retain a 50% buy-back clause on the Spanish defender, making any potential deal more complicated. Chelsea's defensive rebuild is moving fast, with Palestra the priority and centre-back targets now being actively assessed behind the scenes. 👀🔵 #NG67

Oil sold off the moment the Iran peace deal appeared. That part makes perfect sense. Nobody wants to be long crude into open supply routes and normalizing tanker flows. The fundamental value of oil is closer to 50 a barrel than 150. But here is where it gets interesting. If this were only supply normalizing, the curve would still hold its shape. Inventories are drained. Tankers are disrupted. Refineries are scrambling. As long as demand is firm, the curve should stay in strong backwardation. Backwardation means front-month crude trades above later contracts. It is the market telling you it wants barrels today. It is a sign of tightness. That backwardation is nearly gone. The prompt spread, the first two contracts, has narrowed to under a buck. The three-month spread has dropped to just over 2, after being 30 not long ago. The front is selling off far harder than the back. Some of that is supply normalizing. The good kind. But when the curve gets this close to contango this fast, it points to something more troubling. Contango is what a glut looks like in the futures market. Too much oil for the demand in front of it. The curve is not there yet. But it is moving that way. And that is the warning. You have to be careful about exactly why oil is plunging this far, this fast.
