One thing BJP should do is stop giving tickets to people coming from other parties, especially during elections. They can never be trusted... A 3-4 year cooling period should be mandatory before giving them a ticket. 99% of such turncoats leave BJP after being defeated or not getting ticket again.. They're not ideological people, they join BJP just for power. A recent example is this man Ashok Tanwar. He joined BJP during the Lok Sabha elections, got a ticket, but was defeated. Today, he has rejoined Congress, back where he always belonged. Imagine the pain of the hundreds of local loyal leaders/workers who had worked hard for years, only to see ticket given to this man just a few hours after he joined. I understand that winning is important, and such decisions are sometimes necessary, but they should be the exception. If he was so good, why was he defeated?
