On point! Zirkzee is the only reason I don’t rate Carrick.. if you don’t rate Zirkzee as a good player I won’t rate you as a coach.

He will get playing time next season in Cup competitions. We've seen Carrick to be flexible with formation, Zirkzee best position is behind a striker or second striker, we can use him to rest Bruno. I know they are different profile, but can work.

Zirkzee is a brilliant footballer. I’m not particularly cool about his benching but I feel the lack of games or rather the less competitions have contributed to it. If we were playing UCL, lasted in Carabao and FA, he would’ve seen some run of games. I pray he is kept for next season because he will be of immense help to United.

Aside being calm on the ball, he’s nothing close to Dimitri Berbatov. His shooting is poor and lethargic, his movement in the box is sluggish, too inconsistent and indecisive in front of goal. He came out to say he’s not an outright striker. Positional dilemma is also a reason.

For me he's a better striker than sesko zirkzee is a very very good player but he needs to be used rightly not that sesko is bad but that tell you how highly I rate zirk. He has everything fuck that pace talk he mustnt need it for the ability & technique he has

The problem with Zirkzee is that is not an out and out CF, he is a second striker and that position is occupied by Bruno who hardly gets injured Also all our games are too crucial for Carrick to experiment with him up front in place of Sesko or Mbeumo but I think he'll get games

It’s because he identifies as a “9”. So he’ll be judged by his goals. Berbatov in all his play scored goals. Zirkzee is very technical no doubt, but he needs to adapt, you can see he can do more. I don’t know if he’ll be here next season, but if he is. He needs to show more

The issue with zirkzee is his nature. He is always 1 step behind in the levels required with all the abilities he has. Height: no heading, Physic: Not prem level, Pace: not pacy, Skills: Not too efficient, Passing: Not too accurate. There is always some left. He is very good sha
