The US Air Force changed my life. I served nearly 5 years and gained the self confidence I needed. I learned that I could do anything. So, I went to college after my tour of duty and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Built my skills as an engineer and started a success consulting engineering business. That decision to serve and build my skills and confidence in the Air Force changed my life.

I do live at our graduations they have each graduate who has enlisted in the military to stand up in front of the entire venue to roaring applause!!!!

Congratulations. My brother joined the air force out of high school. Started as a airman. He retired a lt. Colonel 30 years later. Works for a airplane manufacturer now. I'd say that was a better solution to college.

Wise Choice. This is my son who at 17 did the same. He earned his bachelors and master's both with honors thanks to the GI Bill - He earned many awards and was a special agent with the OSI - He spent 20+ years and today is a successful wine maker! You can do this! "Aim High"
