@springsteen America’s greatest ever export to the UK. Been lucky enough to have to have seen him 15x since 1984. Him and the E Streeters are a force of nature. Delighted he has been honoured in this way 👏👍🎸

@springsteen Nobody in music deserves these honours more. In the words of the man I’ve been ‘Growin Up’ since hearing Darkness on the Edge of Town and seeing him at Wembley in 1981 right up to getting soaked at Sunderland on Weds. Every second has been worth it ❤️

@springsteen What a fantastic speech. The Ivors are a benchmark award for great songwriting, named after the great Welsh songwriter Ivor Novello, and as a proud Welsh woman I am immensely pleased that Bruce has quite rightly received this award.
