Ronaldo's impact can't be overemphasized, nor can his legacy be denied, but you don't speak about his achievements with the Portugal team as though, he played alone, when I fact, he was never the best player at any major tournaments whether or not they won, and I could remember vividly their 2019 nations league win, where Bernardo Silva was named the best player and Ronaldo was standing next to him and other players were congratulating him except for Ronaldo, and Nuno Mendez was the best player at the 2025, while Griezmann won the Euros best player even while France came second. This is a team sport, and little wonders why the Portuguese team doesn't seem to play as one, because people such as you wouldn't allow them enjoy their success and make all about one man instead of making it about the team. The same way, Martinez kept Ramos on the bench while playing a 41 year old full time, who has had 5 chances to prove himself at the world cup and failed. But now you're talking as though, he represented Portugal alone and had no teammates.
