There are 450 players in the NBA. Of those 450 players……maybe……38 are star players. The other 412 players are all ROLE players!! This means that roughly 85% of the players with jobs in the NBA are ROLE players. The key then to getting to the NBA and staying in the NBA is mastering your ROLE, no matter how big or small that ROLE may be. Patrick Beverley averaged 40ppg in high school while playing in the toughest inner-city league in Chicago. Beverley would not have lasted two seasons in the NBA trying to be a scorer, so he found his ROLE, and turned that into a 12 year career with $82 million in career earnings. Draymond Green is capable of averaging 18-20ppg. That is not his ROLE with the Warriors. He has turned his ROLE into a 14 year career and $228 million in career earnings. No one is asking Bronny James to be a scorer. The Lakers have FOUR scorers. Bronny’s ROLE is to be an elite defender, to knock down open jump shots, and to be aggressive in attacking on offense when opportunities arise. Bronny is growing into his ROLE. A 22-year old earning $120,000 every two weeks while working with his father who is a billionaire is a failure in YOUR eyes if the 22 year old does not average 20ppg because you are both broke AND stupid, and you don’t understand the BUSINESS of the NBA!

Roger Clemens: MLB Players Should Be Allowed to Wear Bible Verses on Their Caps Baseball legend Roger Clemens is pushing back against MLB’s warning to San Francisco Giants players who wrote Bible verses on their Pride Night caps. Season review: • 4,394 passing yards • 31 passing TDs • 8 INTs • 113.5 passer rating Did he have the most outstanding performance against the best defense in football in the Super Bowl? No. Was he even supposed to be anywhere near this game? Also no. People are so quick to want to “have a conversation” about players that it’s almost comical. This kid will do what he’s done his entire life: reflect, respond, and overcome. He will be back.

The attacking team should aim to exploit the neutral zones to stretch the defense, pull defenders out of position, and open up space for a final delivery into the box. The defenders will need to be aware of their positioning and try to prevent passes into the neutral zones by maintaining close coverage on their opponents.

Hey everyone! Before we play our first match, I’d like to share a bit about our offseason. This is one of the most important times of the year for any team, and we made sure to make the most of it. We started tryouts with only 8 days of rest after the previous season ended. We didn’t waste a second. We wanted to be ready, and to do so, we tested between 30 and 35 players, becoming the team that conducted the most tryouts. We gave opportunities to everyone: players with previous experience, those without, T2 players, ranked grinders… If we saw potential, we opened the doors. Our goal was clear from the start: find young grinders hungry to compete and eager to learn. We were looking for talent we could develop and take to the top here at GIANTX. This reflects our philosophy: not just signing stars but building them, betting on the future, and nurturing young talent. I also want to give a massive shoutout to GX Cloud and Liquid purp0 , who worked tirelessly to make this offseason a success. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to secure not only the best players in terms of skill but also those who align perfectly in terms of synergy and personal values. It’s been an intense and exciting offseason full of key decisions. Now, we’re ready to take on the new season with everything we’ve got. If you have any questions about the process, feel free to leave them in the comments. I’ll do my best to answer them as soon as possible! A big reason why this team is very bad — everyday hitters in 4th-5th MLB season have been the same players since they arrived and just aren't capable of making the necessary adjustments to produce at this level. Got rid of 3 of your 4 consistently good everyday hitters but kept the 3 below-average MLB players to help 'improve the team'. The reality: the sooner the Mets cut ties with Alvarez, Baty, and Vientos (+ Stearns/Mendy) — the better the org will be going forward to reset.
