#WATCH | Murshidabad, West Bengal: On TMC goes to Supreme Court over EC's counting supervisor move, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury says, "Anyone can go to the Supreme Court, but it does not behove the ruling party TMC in Bengal to talk about religion from their mouths. In Bengal, from panchayat elections to municipal elections and others, people are not even allowed to file nominations. The police and TMC goons work together to block the paths for opposition members to participate in elections. If someone wins, they are not even given a certificate... This time, I saw that ordinary people were able to vote in the presence of central forces during the elections, they were able to participate in the elections without fear. That does not mean that I support the BJP or the Election Commission... SIR is a different issue, but people voted without fear in the elections because of the presence and proactiveness of the central forces."

An alliance or a joke? TMC goons vandalize Rahul Gandhi’s helipad in Raiganj and suddenly, silence from Congress. No outrage, no “democracy in danger” drama. Even when Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury was attacked, not a word. Seems like everything is conveniently ignored just to protect this opportunistic Congress–TMC alliance and secure one LoP chair.

Vance: Democrats will say voter ID is not necessary, nobody who is not allowed to vote votes in the elections. My response is if nobody who shouldn't vote does vote, and why do you care if we check their ID to be extra careful?

> People here find it hard to believe that v large sections of Biharis in Kolkata are kattar TMC voters > This is Maniktala AC in North Kolkata where Bihari dehatis openly state they will all vote for TMC en masse > They say TMC's "Ghutka Bihari dehati" Shreya Pandey is their own daughter while BJP's Tapas Roy is an outsider Bengali. > Biharis here say they will not let TMC lose in this seat. Some say they feel Kolkata is like Bihar 2.0 because of TMC > Biharis here want a "BJP mukt Bengal", also say TMC is party of Hindus. > Compared to them, the Bengalis of this seat do not say that they will vote for TMC. Observe their body language, they are v hesitant to state it openly > One BJP supporter (at the end) says he was forced out of his home in 2021 and still has to live out. He says people aren't saying they support BJP out of fear.

This Muslim chacha from Bengal is carrying an umbrella which has the Bangladesh logo on it. When asked whom they will vote for. He said "TMC has not done good work but if we don't vote for TMC, the BJP will come which we do not want" 🤡 On the question of Bangladeshi infiltration, he got anxious and called it 'BJP's propaganda'
