The removal of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue in Bollikunta, Warangal district, by the police is a highly condemnable and shameful act. This is yet another example of the Congress Govt's anti-Hindu mindset in Telangana. Time and again, Congress has chosen appeasement politics over respecting the faith and sentiments of the Hindu community. It is disgraceful that, instead of protecting the statue, the police detained BJP Karyakartas, Hindu organization leaders, and local villagers who peacefully opposed its removal.
