Congress, time and again, finds itself ridiculing matters of national security and the honour of our armed forces. Rahul Gandhi’s remarks trivialising Operation Sindoor and the Balakot strike, while mocking the efforts of our forces and the leadership tasked with defending India, reflect a deeply irresponsible and cynical approach... to issues that demand utmost seriousness. National security is not a space for political mockery. The Prime Minister has been elected for a third term by the clear mandate of the people. It is shameful and disgraceful that the LoP Rahul Gandhi has chosen to lower the level of public discourse by insulting the PM and the citizens. What a resounding condemnation by (368-7) of the unhinging of the democratic process in Pakistan by the US Congress. A positive push in the right direction, along the lines of our own constitution, for democracy, rule of law, civilian control over our armed forces (not vice versa), personal freedoms, etc. Resolution 901 states in essence that: "The people of Pakistan deserve the respect of their government, the rule of law, free and fair elections and civilian command and control of their armed forces ...... "Whereas the Constitution of Pakistan states that ‘‘the Federal Government shall have control and command of the Armed Forces’’, and the oath taken by members of the Armed Forces swears they will ‘‘uphold the Constitution’’ and ‘‘not engage in any political activities; "Whereas an essential safeguard of democracy is civilian command and control of apolitical military and security forces; ........ "Urges the Government of Pakistan to uphold democratic and electoral institutions, human rights, and the rule of law, and respect the fundamental guarantees of due process, freedom of press, freedom of assembly, and freedom of speech of the people of Pakistan; "Condemns attempts to suppress the people of Pakistan’s participation in their democracy through harassment, intimidation, violence, arbitrary detention, restrictions on access to the internet and telecommunications, or any violation of their human, civil, or political rights; "Condemns any effort to subvert the political, electoral, or judicial processes of Pakistan; and "Urges the full and independent investigation of claims of interference or irregularities in Pakistan’s February 2024 election".

I had a substantive discussion with the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico 🇸🇰. We covered key topics — matters of principle for Ukraine and matters of principle for Slovakia. I informed about our conversation yesterday with President Trump, our work with leaders of the Coalition of the Willing to advance peace and ensure Ukraine’s security, and the security architecture for Europe. And Slovakia will not stand aside. The Prime Minister told me about his contacts in China. A separate and important topic was Europe’s energy independence — Russian oil, just as Russian gas, has no future. Slovakia supports Ukraine on its path toward the European Union. This is highly significant. We also share the view that Ukraine and Moldova must continue moving together toward EU membership. Equally important is that bilateral cooperation on economic, energy, and infrastructure matters here, in our region, strengthens our peoples and our countries. Thank you for the meeting. It is important that we have this dialogue, and we will continue it.

I extend my support and solidarity to Telangana BJP State President Shri N Ramchander Rao, who is undertaking a 48-hour hunger strike to fight for the rights of students in Telangana. The Congress government’s refusal to even permit a peaceful, democratic protest at Dharna Chowk is a clear reflection of its authoritarian approach. The Revanth Reddy government is jeopardising the future of nearly 40 lakh students across the state. With around ₹15,000 crore in fee reimbursement dues still pending, students are unable to obtain their certificates and are being deprived of opportunities for higher education and employment. Nearly three years after Congress came to power, its Six Guarantees remain as unfulfilled promises. The ₹5 lakh “Vidya Bharosa Card” promised to students has disappeared without a trace, while the promise of free electric scooters for college-going women students has also been put on the back burner. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, who travels across the country speaking about student issues, appears unable to hear the cries of students in Congress-ruled Telangana. When the Revanth Reddy government has completely neglected the education sector and is failing students in Telangana, why has Rahul Gandhi remained silent? I demand that the Congress government wake up and immediately release the pending fee reimbursement dues. For the second time since the restoration of our independence, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden has come to Ukraine. A government delegation also accompanied him. I thank His Majesty for his visit and for supporting our people. Sweden is among the five largest donors in terms of support for our Armed Forces and our citizens. This is very important for our defense and resilience. Support for Ukraine and possibilities for strengthening the Air Force of Ukraine, including with Gripen aircraft, were among the key topics of the talks. We also discussed continued humanitarian support and energy assistance. Particular attention was paid to defense cooperation. Ukraine is interested in a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership that will strengthen the defense capabilities of both Ukraine and Sweden. I informed the King about Ukraine’s security agreements with countries in the Middle East and the Gulf region, as well as European countries. We are ready to share our experience and technologies with Sweden and to expand cooperation in the defense industry.

The Australian government does not deserve our trust, or our respect. Today, Minister Penny Wong sat back in her chair grappling for words, desperately looking for the right lie to tell. It is worse than dishonest - it is an absolute lack of care. Penny Wong came to this country when she was 8 years old. She came to a country that afforded her the ability to become who she is, and she is now doing her part to destroy it. Back in the 70’s, when she came, Australia was a fair-minded place and a great place to be. Yet here she is... Here in Australia. Undermining our country and lying to our faces. Because she can’t tell the truth. Because if she did, it would destroy any semblance of care for Australia tied to her old party’s Labor brand. It would say the quiet part out loud. The truth. The truth that the Albanese government is more interested in the fortunes of the ISIS brides, women who chose to leave this country to go and fight against our people, than those of us that can’t find or afford a place to live here at home. I am tired of being told how to think by people that completely lack morals and couldn’t care less. People that are elected and paid to operate in the national interest but always put their twisted ethics and back pockets ahead of our nation and our people. I don’t know when Labor stopped caring about Australian workers or worse, when they started hating Australia, but they have and they do. The absolute lack of opposition, the lack of authentic choice has pushed us into a place where these absolute traitors to the interests of the people who pay them - goes entirely unchecked. We are careening out of control, unchecked migration, an energy grid that is just about to collapse, no industry to speak of, and no good reason to start or maintain a business in this place. It happened fast, but those of us who pay our taxes and take risks to make Australia a better place, are being undermined and white-anted by our politicians. The people we are forced to trust, and must pretend to respect, because they have the force of law on their side. Not because they are any good at their jobs. Not because they have earned our affection. No. Simply because they are in charge and there is little to nothing that can be done about it. It is becoming apparent that the two party system has outlived its useful life. Too much corruption, too many words too carefully chosen in a pantomime between to political forces that don’t really want to change anything. They just want to have their go, to have their turn to jam their grubby hands into the till. Surely with this major and catastrophic failure by the so-called Honourable Minister Senator Wong, the people will be able to see through the veil and into the absolute and irresponsible lack of care at the heart of this deceitful Labor government. They lie about everything, and they can, because they don’t have an opposition worthy of the title. I am growing more confident by the day that the only solution to our woes is a new political force, a fresh, Australia first force, that will act in the national interest and put all these corrupt and useless used-car salesmen red and blue in the dustbin of history. It can’t come soon enough. Time is short. I just want Australia back.

There has been a growing call to boycott trade and tourism with these countries, and private citizens have stood up in solidarity. But the Congress party can’t even bring itself to align with the broader sentiment of the Indian people. No wonder it remains so disconnected from the public. DMK Ministers take great joy in belittling our brothers and sisters from Northern India, often forgetting our Tamil values and culture. Having intoxicated the younger populace of our state with unrestricted liquor sales and easy access to drugs, the DMK should be ashamed for demeaning the people who have filled in the labour deficit of our state. The NEP 2020 is not about Hindi like the previous educational policies released by the Congress party. It is about promoting all Indian languages, with emphasis on the mother tongue (Tamil) as a medium of instruction, and the opportunity for our government school students to learn a third language and foreign languages at the secondary level. The people of TN have realised this, and DMK should stop wasting their energy in spreading their defunct propaganda and spreading hatred.

I had a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the European Council meeting today in Brussels. I thanked Emmanuel for his clear and principled stance in support of Ukraine and the need for new, more substantial steps to protect our entire Europe—our peoples, our institutions, and our European way of life. We discussed the upcoming meeting on March 11 at the level of military representatives of the countries willing to put in greater efforts to ensure reliable security in the context of ending this war. We coordinated our positions and next steps. We have an absolutely clear shared vision that real and lasting peace is possible through cooperation between Ukraine, all of Europe, and the United States. The war must end as soon as possible.

The vast majority of foreigners are unable to truly grasp the intense desire among the Chinese people to achieve national reunification. Our Chinese nation endured a history of suffering and humiliation that spanned over a century; Dutch colonialists once occupied and enslaved Taiwan, followed by 50 years of colonial occupation by the Japanese Empire, and subsequently, military intervention by U.S. imperialism obstructed our national reunification. Yet, the people on both sides of the Strait are—at their core—Chinese; bound by shared bloodlines, language, script, culture, and history, it is simply impossible for the United States and its puppet Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government to engineer a state of "de facto, long-term independence."
