Congressional Republicans led an effort to pass a bill blocking my Administration’s plan to provide up to $20,000 in student debt relief to working and middle class Americans. I won’t back down on helping hardworking folks. That’s why I’m vetoing this bill.

Wait… you want to TAKE money from middle-class families who made good decisions and give it to grad students who made terrible financial decisions? Why on earth would you do that? Do you really hate the middle working class that much?

You're such an embarrassment for our nation.

This bill, like so much else you have done, causes hard working folks to be forced to pay for poor decisions made by others. It is a complete lie that such a bill helps hard working folks! It only helps corrupt politicians buy votes using tax dollars provided by hard working folks.

You want working class Americans who paid for or didn't incur any student debt to pay for someone else. Be honest, I know that's difficult for whoever is writing this post.

It is not, nor should it ever be, the taxpayer’s responsibility to pay off the student loan debt of others.

You are corrupt! Teaching students to not pay their legal debts is wrong. They will grow up to be deadbeats like you and your son Hunter. Why don’t you try teaching the next generation to be responsible and pay back what they borrowed. That’s a valuable lesson in life.

Well your student debt relief plans are illegal, so there’s that too. Congress controls the purse.
