The American Bar Association openly supports deciding who gets into law school based on race, not academics The ABA President is asked to defend law school admissions based on race and she indicates that she does support race-based admissions. This is racist - The ABA endorsed affirmative action in the 1960s - In 1980, the ABA adopted a Standard requiring law schools to provide full opportunities to ethnic minorities - The ABA consistently files with the briefs Supreme Court defending race-based admissions policies in higher education cases The way they accomplish this is SUBSTANTIALLY lowering the scores requirements for admissions for black people and minorities.
