Another shocking act of recklessness from Bihar. On a National Highway in Bihar, seven people are seen riding on the roof and bonnet of a Thar SUV. This is not just dangerous. it is a direct challenge to Bihar Police and the law-and-order system. Bihar’s roads must not be turned into a Haryana-style stunt zone. Such blatant disregard for public safety cannot be ignored. The Bihar government must take immediate and strict action against those involved, set an example, and ensure that highways are not reduced to playgrounds for irresponsible behaviour. Law must be enforced before lives are lost.

It is shameful to hear that the Congress party is asking, "Kashmir se kya waasta hai?" I would like to remind the Congress party that J&K is an integral part of India, and every state and citizen has the right over J&K, just as the people of J&K have the right over the rest of India. The Congress doesn’t know that many brave sons of Rajasthan have sacrificed their lives for peace and security in Kashmir. But it is not merely the fault of the Congress leaders. It is mostly the Italian culture of the Congress party that is to blame for not understanding the very idea of India. Such statements hurt every patriotic citizen who cares for the unity and integrity of the nation. People will certainly answer Congress. And for the kind information of the Congress, it was not Article 371, but Article 370, that was abrogated by the Modi government. However, it is only expected of Congress to make such horrendous mistakes. Such blunders made by it have haunted our nation for decades now.

Even by his own pathetic standards, this is a new low. Watch recent comments by the famous Yadav brothers of Bihar, who are key members of INDI Alliance. This is what our country is up against. Had Odisha not voted squarely for Narendra Modi, it is likely that these are the people who would today be running Government of India. Never forget, progress is not guaranteed and any success is fragile. Every positive accomplishment has to be continuously defended, protected, expanded upon for India to keep doing well. And it may not take very much to set the country back again by decades.

This is not just negligence it is a serious threat to public safety. Such a dangerous condition exists only because of the complete failure of monitoring and vigilance by the authorities. This is a clear example of how lives are being put at risk due to administrative apathy. With elections 5 days away in Tamil Nadu, the Congress & the DMK have yet to come to terms on what to call their alliance. One calls in I.N.D.I. Alliance, the other calls in SPA (Secular Progressive Alliance). Incidentally, Thiru Rahul Gandhi, in his speech, mentioned that their party had never tried to intimidate, trap or crush DMK as an alliance partner at any point in time, conveniently forgetting the seat-sharing discussion during the 2011 assembly elections. Everyone knows how DMK was threatened by CBI raids to ensure the Congress party was offered 63 seats in the assembly elections. That threat seems to be hanging over DMK’s head even today. Not to forget, in 2013, days after DMK withdrew its support for the Congress party (they later joined together in quick time is a different story), the CBI raided Thiru M.K.Stalin’s residence.

Nicolás Maduro was not a good guy. His brand of socialism and authoritarian rule devastated Venezuela and crushed democratic institutions. There’s no serious argument that the country is better off under his leadership. Venezuela deserves democracy.
