Tune Studio is an end-to-end platform for developing applications using Large Language Models. So far, I haven't seen any other platform like this one. You can do everything here: 1. You can curate your data. 2. Use the playground to play with different models and try your ideas. 3. Fine-tune an open-source model on your data. 4. Deploy the model when you are done. This is awesome for anyone building generative AI applications. You can use Tune Studio to work with any of the open-source models out there. They were one of the few companies to host Llama 2 and Llama 3 before anyone else. Here is a link to check it out: One of their main selling points is that Tune Studio scales! You don't have to worry about serving your model to lots of users. They also have built-in user management, authentication, on-prem support, user context management, and pretty much everything you need to build generative AI applications. Thanks to the Tune team for collaborating with me on this post. We are living through the best years of development tools for AI developers. The field is unstoppable.

Hugging Face is the open model hub: it hosts model weights, datasets, evals, & demo apps, and maintains the open-source libraries (like transformers) used to run and train them. I think of it like GitHub, but for AI models. You can download open models and run them on your own machines. In this series we'll cover what open source and open weight models are, how they work, how to run them yourself, and why they're important. By the way - this video is edited entirely with Claude! We are constantly learning from other people. I am learning from you through the questions you are asking, and you are learning from me. All day long, we are learning from one another. AI also has to learn from something. The original AI models, whether they were open or closed, were trained on previously created knowledge from the internet. Now, AI is generating more content than humans. In a few more years, the internet could be 99% AI-generated content, and that content will have been created by some form of AI. As a result, AI systems will constantly be distilling knowledge and intelligence from other AI systems. The fact that AI can learn is a good thing. We’re launching Mundi, the first open-source web GIS built for AI. After years of training geospatial AI models, we decided now is the moment to build the GIS software of the next decade. After the AI Vectorizer, Georeferencer, and Kue (our LLM agent inside QGIS), we realized that GIS is at an inflection point. But existing mapping software was neither powerful enough to allow for synchronous collaboration with AI agents, nor open source to allow the community to build on top of it. If we want to get the most out of LLMs, we need to create our own GIS that is purposefully designed for AI—Mundi. With Mundi, you collaborate with Kue, our AI GIS agent, to edit your map, rather than physically interacting with tools as you would in a legacy GIS.
