I disagreed with Dan’s point here. To dismiss conservative support for Donald Trump as mere infatuation with personality is to engage in a vulgar form of reductionism. It is an insult not only to the intelligence of the conservative voter but to the seriousness with which they approach questions of governance, order, and national sovereignty. The conservatives I know are not beguiled by charisma, they are moved by their values. They value the restoration of sovereignty, the preservation of cultural continuity, and the reassertion of common sense in public life. To caricature them as thoughtless followers is to overlook the deep moral and philosophical commitments that inform their choices.

While this may apply to some, it definitely does not apply to all who protest in support of the Palestinian cause. Many protesters in any protest will have extreme views and agendas, including Pro-Palestinian protesters promoting hatred, however this does not reflect ALL protesters. Most protesters are advocating for aid to civilians, the protection of the innocent, and improvements to the lives of Palestinians. These are noble causes to fight for. A Pro-Palestinian protester is not pro-Hamas. A Pro-Israeli protester is not anti-Palestinian.

Patriotism is not racism. Common sense is not extremism. Demographic decline is not a justification for allowing illegal immigration or legalizing the status of those who entered illegally, as Pedro Sánchez did for around 500,000 people. Europe should reform its immigration system and make it merit-based. It should welcome people who add value, are willing to contribute, and are committed to integrating into society. Most importantly, immigration policy should prioritize cultural compatibility and respect for the values of the countries people are joining. We don't need chaos, rampant crime, gangs, or social instability. Europe must not become a third-world region.
