Totally undemocratic. The idea is to prevent many people voting who the Tories think will not vote them. Preventing non existent fraud is just a pretext to make it harder for some sections of society to vote. They should make it as easy to vote as possible to be democratic

If they believed in democracy, they should be making it easier for people to vote not saying it doesn't matter because they wouldn't vote anyway. Every believer in democracy should be affronted by his words.

Makes no difference whether they were going to vote. They are *entitled* to a vote.
