Conservative MP Chris Warkentin casts doubt on the claim that Speaker Anthony Rota was solely responsible for inviting a Nazi soldier to Parliament. Warkentin says the Trudeau government is also to blame.

Brilliant! MP Warkentin said what needed to be said clearly and succinctly. It all comes down to who was responsible. Only one party is responsible for running our government, regardless of who enables them. The Liberals. The time has finally come: #TrudeauMustResign

This is a national disgrace Resign, Justin

Finally some common sense.

Rota will fall under the bus and resign but reemerge in a high ranking appointment early next year. It's what they do for each other.

Very well said sir. Thank you for pointing out what every Canadian has been thinking.

Rota is the fall guy. He will be well comp'd.

@stopthebiscuit my god, what an embarrassment! You'd think they'd have an army of background checkers to see these things!😬

@LanceNadeau3 Liberals just sent a message to world leaders that our security screening is so pathetic that an actual Nazi can receive an invitation to Parliament and receive a standing ovation for his military service. Makes me wince as a Canadian.
