The most disappointing and scary thing about this is that many people will actually believe the unadulterated drivel spouted by this Victorian jizz pole.

The Russian connections to the ERG and the Tories should be more thoroughly investigated rather than pay any attention to this obvious misdirection.

Ah, another ‘Benefit of Brexit’. How utterly ridiculous. US and EU support have been vital and extensive.

First is was “brexit will give us cheaper food” then “we’ll have more money for NHS”, then it was “we couldn’t have rolled out the vaccine as fast in the EU” - all demonstrably false. Now this?! Mogg still desperately seeking those brexit benefits. #BrexitLies

Can’t say I recall this put forward in 2016 as a key benefit for the UK leaving the EU. However it shows the amazing Nostradamus like skills of Brexiteers to prepare for this. Great work fellas!

All this man does is given a platform to spew propaganda

Jacob Rees-Mogg needs sectioning. Call the nurse someone.

I sincerely think that Mr Rees-Mogg has disgraced himself so many times that he doesn’t care about disgracing himself again with such an obvious lie.

Remember when getting rid of a rule-breaking PM was seen as unthinkable because "GOODNESS, DON'T YOU KNOW THERE'S A WAR ON?"

Even if one was unaware of UK ongoing defence cooperation with Ukraine, one only has to look at the different actions of different EU members during the conflict to see that JRM is spinning yet another desperate yarn in the endless search for a Brexit benefit.
