The Israel Defense Force has issued a statement warning all representatives of the Iranian Government to leave Lebanon in the next 24 hours or risk being targeted and killed, with IDF Spokesman Col. I predicted yesterday what Trump has said today. I wrote that Iran’s retaliation would be against Israel, and the Iranian speaker has now said the same. Marco Rubio also talking to Israelis on it. In my assessment, the US is likely to attack Iran in the coming weeks. Trump may target Iranian parliamentarians and other senior officials, possibly even the Supreme Leader. The aim would be to hit Iran so hard that it cannot strike back at the Qatar airbase or Israel. However, they have failed to turn Iranian population against the regime despite their protests. So even if they topple the regime, they can’t get the desired outcome like Syria.
