Sometimes you genuinely have to ask, are we living in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan or somewhere in Europe? The dressing, behavior, and overall attitude of some actresses seem completely disconnected from our own culture and values. Following every Western trend doesn’t automatically make someone modern. We can move forward without completely forgetting who we are and where we come from. But blindly copying every Western trend while ignoring our own values and traditions deserves serious criticism.

Remember the lady who refused to shake Meghan Markle’s hand when William, Catherine, Harry and Meghan were greeting mourners viewing the floral tributes for Queen Elizabeth? I like people like her. She stood by her principles and wasn’t afraid to act according to her values. She wasn’t obligated to shake Meghan’s hand. After everything that happened, from the Oprah interview while Prince Philip was seriously ill to Meghan mocking the late Queen’s curtsy, to years of accusations against the Royal Family, the public displays of grief and concern rang hollow. Spare me the crocodile tears. To me, that lady showed integrity, strong values and the courage to stand by her convictions. Not all heroes wear capes. 🫡

My dearest Bappa and Mommy, through your quiet sacrifices, you taught me that true leadership is rooted in integrity and that the greatest legacy one can leave is the service of others. I am the the product of your prayers and a reflection of the values you instilled in me from the very beginning. As you celebrate the 49th anniversary of your blessed union, I thank you for being my first teachers and my lifelong inspiration.
