Liberals passed a draconian motion to skip ALL stages on Bill C-26, so that the bill could not even be studied or amended at committee. This bill spends $1.7 billion of your money. I asked the Liberal Housing Minister if he would at least come to committee to answer questions about the bill. He refused. The authoritarian Carney Liberals are undermining the work of Parliament.

Most Canadians are focused on Bill C-34. Before that it was Bill C-22. Before that it was Bill C-9. And that is exactly the problem. Roman Baber asks the Liberals if they will work with Conservatives to pass part 1 of Bill C-22 but pause and fix the many issues including keeping the meta data of Canadians for up to a year & allowing for back doors to be created by tech companies at the Government’s request. Steve MacKinnon’s answer should worry everyone. When you need to dismiss real concerns by saying “conspiracies & tin foil hats” while yelling like a madman there’s something very wrong with the Bill & the Liberals are using every tactic they can to distract from it.

Absolutely egregious. Not only are the Liberals refusing to let us study Bill C-16 and protect women and children, they're trying to ram their censorship bill, C-9, through committee with just TWO HOURS of debate on amendments, after which it would automatically go to a vote.
