@s_guilbeault My family are farmers I don’t need your “policy experts” to explain to me that the carbon taxes on diesel fuel hasn’t increased the costs of farming.

So what you are asking us to believe is that all the below effects of a carbon tax: 1. Increasing costs of transportation. 2. Increasing costs to keep livestock warm. 3. Increasing costs to grow greenhouse vegetables. 4. Increasing costs to harvest. 5. Increasing costs to transport food to market. don't affect the price of food? That is astonishing. Please explain that.

flour for bread: Fuel cost for farm equipment , higher fertilizer costs, transportation cost to mill, transportation costs from milling to packaging, packaging costs, transportation to distribution, transportation to final destination(store) every one of them compounds the tax!!
