Conservatives in British Columbia need to ensure we don't elect a compromised closet Liberal insider to be our next leader. We all witnessed how easily it is for candidates to get elected, then do the exact opposite of what they campaigned on. Meanwhile their former donors, volunteers & supporters... show more

My birthday is on September 25th, and the by-election to formally elect & get Kerry-Lynne Findlay in legislature ends Sept 26th. My b-day wish is for everyone to unite behind Kerry-Lynne so we can get Eby out of there. Dallas Brodie, who is the leader of OneBC & a COMPETING PARTY, called for UNITY to allow Kerry-Lynne the opportunity to represent those in BC who want change. All Conservatives need to stand behind her. Time to send a message.

“There is a time for every purpose under Heaven.” After traveling the country the past six months, it has become clear…this is not my time. As we leave this campaign, we do so with grateful hearts. I will always be grateful for the opportunities my family and I have been given to serve this country. Karen Pence and I want to thank all our supporters across the country, our campaign family, and volunteers. You will always be in our hearts. God bless you all 🇺🇸

Kamala Harris: We cannot despair. We cannot despair. The nature of a democracy is such that I think there's a duality. On the one hand, there's an incredible strength when our democracy is intact. An incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. Oh, there's great strength in that. And it is very fragile. It is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it. And so that's the moment we're in. And I say do not despair because in a democracy, as long as we can keep it, in our democracy the people, every individual has the power to make a decision about what this will be. And so let's not feel powerless. Because then we have been defeated. And that's not our character as the American people. We are not one to be defeated. We rise to a moment and we stand on broad shoulders of people who have fought this fight before for our country. And in many ways let us look at the challenge then that we are being presented and not be overwhelmed by it. The baton is now in our hands, to fight for, not against, but for this country we love.

I try to explain how Our most important institution, the protector of our democracy, the election commission of India might be compromised That it is not acting as a Commission.. And is acting like a one man agency But after this we all need to ask if we are still a democracy? And, most importantly Can we win it back ?

Dr. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed: To all of our incredible supporters here, what a race. I wanna say how grateful I am for the opportunity to participate in democracy. My family immigrated to this country from a place where there is not democracy. You cannot just put your hand up and run. The ability to have our voices heard, to select our leaders, it is a gift that sometimes we take for granted.

I hear from Americans every day who are losing faith that our democracy works for them. It’s incumbent on all elected officials to end the chaos and corruption, and earn people’s trust. And beyond electeds, is time for all of us to act, to recognize the crisis for so many, and do more. No one is coming to save us. We are the heroes our country needs.

Together with all of our allies and partners, we have achieved such a level of cooperation which ensures that democracy, international law, and freedom are respected. There have been attempts to ignore and disregard what we value. But now it is impossible. Now our power is growing. Anyone who might want to wage aggression against a democratic country sees what the response will be. And the more we all work together, the less likely anyone else in the world will follow Russia's insane path. But is this enough? Democracy needs more. I think we need the clear global leadership of democracy. This is the main thing that we provide with our cooperation.

French President Macron on social media: We must go further in the regulation of social media in order to preserve the DNA of our democracy. Because at the same time, we are opening Pandora’s box and allowing a lot of hate speech on these platforms and social media. We are too weak and too naive. And we should ask these platforms, first, to completely block bots. We have to be sure there is one single person with one account. If this is an AI system, if this is bought and organized by a big organization, it should simply be forbidden. We need transparency of the algorithm. We are a democracy. We don’t ask for the IP, but we do ask for transparency, which is part of our democracy. We need responsibility from these platforms when they don’t respect our social order, when they don’t respect our rules. And to allow us to do so, we have to go further in order to sue those who clearly decide not to respect our rules and our regulation. And we should block all those who refuse to comply.

VIDEO | Delhi: On Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's birthday, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor says, "I have come to wish him continued resolution, resilience, determination and strength in leading a more inclusive democracy in our country. What we need to see is a strong opposition, and with Rahul Gandhi's leadership, that's exactly what we need to get. We have won the elections in Kerala after 10 years, next we have Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh. We are in a good possibility in all these places and this is a good time to turn the tide. I think it is going to happen. For him I think the journey is more important, and that he has to continue with great determination." (Full video available on PTI Videos -

This has been a dark week for democracy, as a small minority resorts to attacks and intimidation against elected representatives in an attempt to block progress. They will not succeed. We will not be deterred. I will continue to work with everyone to keep moving forward to a better future for all.

Don’t be fooled by the left wing media and their lies fueled rhetoric that Canada will never become our 51s state! It’s all a gimmick. There is a path forward and it is beginning in Alberta to British Columbia to begin the process. It is what it is. Some of y’all gonna be real mad.

David Eby: “Canada is the greatest nation on earth.” Interesting place to say it… China. I spent Canada Day in Langley with our Leader, Kerry-Lynne Findlay, celebrating with British Columbians instead. While British Columbians are struggling with soaring costs, rising crime and a housing crisis, our Premier chose to spend Canada’s birthday overseas, in China. Maybe next year he’ll celebrate Canada Day in Canada.

Kerry-Lynne Findlay whipped the Conservative caucus to vote that Canada is a genocidal state. I stand up and fight back against NDP activists who compare our country's history to the worst atrocities in human history. One of us has a spine. One of us doesn't. British Columbians don't need a leader who folds to activist pressure and legitimizes lies about our country.

Five years ago, we restored the right to vote to 83,000 New Jerseyans on probation or parole. Strengthening voting rights and allowing more people to fully participate in our democracy is a legacy we can all be proud of.

True when I said it, true today. “Canada is, and always has been, our country. And we want Canada to be a True North that is as strong and as free as it can be in every way that matters: the best country in the world. That’s why we’re here, that’s why we strive, that’s why we serve. Canada must reflect the true character of the Canadian people: honourable in our dealings, faithful to our commitments, loyal to our friends. By turns, a courageous warrior and a compassionate neighbour. It is our purpose that Canada must be great, it must be great for all Canadians, it must be a country of hope and an example to the world. And only when it is these things, when Canada is all that it can be, only then can we say that our work is done.”

My heart goes out to Charlie Kirk's family. This is a tragic shooting and from all appearances, it is an act of political violence. Political violence is on the rise and it is a sign of crisis and weakness in a democracy. I condemn all forms of political violence. We all must take responsibility for working to end it, to secure our democracy and to promote peace and strength in our nation and beyond.

Many conservative British Columbians have been expressing their concerns to me about the relationship between OneBC and the BC Conservative party. I have good news, despite the fact that the BC Conservatives cut off all contact after the coup against Kerry-Lynne Findlay, we have decided to optimize the conservative movement in the fight against the radical left. Wherever you are in BC, you will have a real conservative option to vote for. Over the last year and a half I have seen many BC “Conservative” MLAs vote for insane NDP policy. On the other hand, we have fought side by side with other MLAs against those very same policies. Unfortunately, some of those conservatives are being purged right now. You have our word, that the subversion of democracy from the insiders who are trying to recreate the BC Liberal party will not go unopposed, and no conservative will be forced to go to polls demoralized. At the same time, just as we did in the Abbotsford-Mission by-election when Kerry-Lynne Findlay was running, we will not oppose true conservatives who will fight for the values we all share to ensure victory over the extremist NDP agenda.

This moment is a test for our nation’s leaders. We need to speak out - strong and unafraid - in defense of our democracy and in outrage at the endorsement of violence by the President of the United States. Not a time to shrink or be shy.
