I actually got to witness a digital price tag change on me only grabbing a court of half and half. It magically went up $2.20 right when I grabbed it, a Walmart organic brand. I looked at it and put it back and it went down $2.20 after I let go of it. I just walked out with nothing and ran to a locally owned gas station. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Walmart says their purpose was to detect stress to notify and alert staff. That’s an obvious lie. At any given time at Walmart there are only two cashiers and two self checkout attendees who are mandated to stay in their position and no employees on the floor. So who is actually available to respond to stress. No one! Ever been to a Walmart where they are so limited in customer service personnel? You wait around for ten minutes and see no employees. Then you have to call the Walmart landline for assistance. Such as if something is spilled and you want to report it. Happens to me sometimes. And then, notice when you go into a Walmart and your phone won’t open a Kroger, HEB, Amazon, or grocery app with the intent of doing price comparisons? The apps are literally blocked while in the store. I get better cell service on my phone in an air plane than I do inside a Walmart. Even though these carts have not been implemented, I am at my last straw on ever shopping at Walmart again. I miss the 80’s and 90’s when mom and pop stores had a chance. When monopolies couldn’t monopolize. Yet now Walmart is allowed to monopolize and magically decades later, no one can afford a house mainly due to the expense of groceries and cost of living. Then magically both parents have to work full time with no one to help with their children and home management. This is not a golden age. It’s a golden shower.
