Constantine (2005) sits at 46%, but it’s aged far better than critics predicted. Keanu Reeves fought to keep the film’s darker tone, and Tilda Swinton’s casting as the androgynous Gabriel was so bold it nearly got rejected by the studio.

And Peter Stomare as Satan

rent free...

Absolute banger!!! And don’t forget that Peter Stormare’s version of Satan may be the BEST ever..!

46% ??? Whoa. I understand if the gripe with Constantine is that they're a big fan of the comics and it's a terrible depiction of JC. But there's not that many Hellblazer superfans out there to get it to 46% For everyone else, it's underrated. Gabriel and Lucifer were great.

What?! Constantine is a masterpiece!

I've watched this movie at least 30 times. It was a deployment go to. I can't imagine how the score is this low.

And Peter Stormare as the best Satan.

As an accurate depiction of John Constantine it's pretty bad...but it's still a great movie. The tv series was also underrated and maybe the best comic book adaptation.

The world is still waiting for Constantine 2.

46%? It is 90% for me, Love this Movie and watch it again and again.

Two of the best villain characters in a comic book movie. Great cast. Also the bowling alley scene seemed extra creepy when I was younger

It's a fantastic flik! Boo to the haters. It contains ond of the best "Satan"s ever.

At 16% 😹, I give you “Red Planet” with Val Kilmer and Carrie-Anne Moss. Compelling story with two very likable characters trying to survive Mars with 1) spaceship crippled by a solar storm and 2) a homicidal robot. Kilmer plays a more relatable astronaut than Damon imo.

Also the most cinematic devil of all time

To be honest, this just shows that a movie critics are clowns who don't really care about movies. They just circlejerk each other. Same with game journos

Its one of my favorite movies of all time.

Punisher:Warzone was another good one. Only movie outside of Sin City to actually look like a comic.

Constantine is severely underrated

Underworld 30%

Not to mention one of the best interpretations of Lucifer Morningstar

Cool movie if you pretend to not know who Constantine is. But it’s not a good representation of John Constantine himself. Everything is the opposite almost. Love Keanu, but he isn’t a good choice for a smartass from Liverpool with Blonde hair and iconic brown trench coat/red tie
There was a slow motion scene where Keanu Reeves hits a demon with holy brass knuckles. I don't care what anyone says, this movie was entertaining.

Keanu Reeves is a great actor. Whenever he is in a movie, entertainment is guaranteed.

Awesome movie

A fantastic film!! Plus- I’d say Tilda owns that role.. She was perfect!!

10/10 younger self could not sleep for two days

In my opinion it’s the most soulful Keanu performance He’s broken, sarcastic, but still fighting for a world that’s already damned The atmosphere and themes hit deeper than people gave it credit for He made damnation look elegant, and redemption feel impossible

For me, it's Passengers (2016) - 30% on RT.

I still watch this at least once a year.

ну да, никто не сыграл бы Гавриила так же странно и оригинально, как Тильда. оценка потери для фильма без неё: –25 % к атмосферности и запоминаемости.

I went and saw this in theaters....I think I was 16 years old...it was incredible ..will never forget that scene.

Professional critics are retarded.

My prediction: Movies from the past 20 years will seem better as more slop gets created.

Constantine was made for moviegoers. People that just want to watch a good decent movie.

Freaking love this flick
