Constitutional Court to rule today, on potential changes around CONSENT when it comes to sexual acts/offences. The person initiating the sexual act/intercourse MAY need to get explicit consent before engaging, moving forward. And not rely on believed/assumed/implicit consent.

Mockler: Norms in a democracy work a lot like consent. You can't have meaningful consent when only one side is engaging in that, and you can't have meaningful norms when one side is engaging. So when Obama says, we're okay with temporary redistricting proportional to what Texas is doing, I don't think that's very hypocritical. But when it comes to Newsom, get the attention, drive the narrative. That's what Democrats should do.

The policing model we use in this country relies upon consent, policing by consent. The population consent to be policed...... It was never designed for this, you couldn't for instance go to a third world country and try policing by consent, in many places in the world they only understand strength and fear as a deterrent.
