Constitutional Court to rule today, on potential changes around CONSENT when it comes to sexual acts/offences. The person initiating the sexual act/intercourse MAY need to get explicit consent before engaging, moving forward. And not rely on believed/assumed/implicit consent.

TikTok comment to me regarding consent: “Your NO does not negate my YES.” My response: Yes it does. Consent is only consent if all parties consent. The presence of one NO negates consent for the entire group. There is no “majority rules” when it comes to consent.

Mockler: Norms in a democracy work a lot like consent. You can't have meaningful consent when only one side is engaging in that, and you can't have meaningful norms when one side is engaging. So when Obama says, we're okay with temporary redistricting proportional to what Texas is doing, I don't think that's very hypocritical. But when it comes to Newsom, get the attention, drive the narrative. That's what Democrats should do.
