ALERT: Construction worker hoisted out of 20-foot trench by a crane after falling off a ladder in Georgia. DeKalb County Fire Rescue responded to a call about a construction worker who had fallen into a trench near the Life Skills Autism Academy ABA Therapy Center. The worker slipped off a ladder and fell 20 feet down into the hole, and the rescue took over an hour. DCFR’s Tiffany Pinkston said the man sustained moderate injuries but was talking, communicating, and appeared coherent.
