As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, I strongly recommend that the government employ qualified OHS professionals in these projects to ensure continuous hazard identification, thorough risk analysis, and the timely implementation of all necessary controls

@WAMBATIMIKE Safety First! Construction sites remain one of the most hazardous workplaces globally. Safe systems of work are mandatory to avoid deaths and serious injuries.

If Bomas hadn't been brought down, those 7 lives wouldn't have been lost bc of this unnecessary construction work.

That's why in the UAE in every construction site there must be a HSE officer with a proper risk assessment done. We need to take the safety of the workers with the seriousness it deserves.
