She’s been auditor for 3 years. She started this battle as soon as she took office. She was a State Senator for 4 years prior to running for auditor which, IMO, says that she knows there’s corruption to expose & that’s why she decided to run for auditor. What I don’t appreciate about this performance is that it’s the second time she’s done a performance at the St Patrick’s Day breakfast about it (I didn’t appreciate it the first time either). The tradition of the breakfast is for politicians to roast each other & make jokes. She is making a joke out of an extremely serious situation after spending 3 years running around in circles and accomplished nothing. Why should we have to vote for our elected auditor to audit? What sense does that make? The legislators and AG blocking this audit should’ve already been removed from their offices for treason. I don’t know…I just feel like this is a much bigger deal than how it’s being treated… they are essentially hiding their records from the public and our solution to that is to play their game and abide by their laws….? Their paychecks should stop. The statehouse should be shut down….they shouldn’t be able to operate - no public official is supposed to be able to hide their records and this not ONE PUBLIC OFFICIAL, this is a WHOLE LEGISLATURE telling the people to fuck off basically….
