Your contract clearly indicates the date of expiry. So unless the employer has communicated, stay away from the premises.

The Court of Appeal dispelled this. Civil Appeal No. 81 of 2018 (yet to be published on Kenya Law) In essence, the court stated that upon the lapse of a fixed term contract, there cannot be a legitimate expectation of renewal of the same. Basically, contract ikiisha, tembea.

On fixed term contract it ends on expiry of contract but the employer should ensure no access to premises and you are not assigned duties to prevent the implied contract.

Punguzeni mihadarati hahah

@iodine_purple 🤔🤔give us your take, is it applicable??

Not applicable in KE

🤔🤔a further enlightment would do…

Common sense dictates that if contract expires on 31st dec. Dont come to job on 2nd jan. Unless you're involved in this projects where your services are required untill the end of project

Not in Kenya, Patel akisema "mimi taki ona wewe hapa kesho" hata uelewane na yeye aje its impossible. Utaskia tu "rose pea yeye balance yake na toa yeye kwa register"

@BaronGreen_Back Hakuna kitu mrasta anaeza niambia nimchukulie serious 😂😂
