I know you will say that they did it to make sure full game is in disc but that's executive talk, there is no way a game that went Gold so early has trouble making it to physical disc.show more

Delaying a disc sometimes just means shipping the disc with patches so the game fully works straight from the disc, releasing the disc later has its pros and cons

The question not to share content is also meant for those who wait for disc tbf

Launching early on playstation surprised me, i had no idea. Luckily i wanted t0 play on my pro anyways but sucks knowing not everyone is playing yet. The game is great, rest assured that if you’re a fan of control , you’re going to love this one. Its different but fantastic so far

In my circles I've heard they missed the notice period to get the disc order in. Which is why they delayed disc.

Point 2 is bs but point 1, Remedy are an independent company in a struggling landscape and they got paid a decent amount for an extremely short window. Grow up and realise if you want a future from this and many other independent studios then they need to secure funding.
