I cannot wait for Control Resonant, I wish I had the opportunity to review it early as Remedy are masters of batshit storylines, insane visuals & unique gameplay. Alan Wake 2 was master class in all of that, and I can't wait to see how Resonant evolves from this.

Jessica Lange on recreating the iconic “Knotty Pine” scene from “AHS: Coven” in #AHS13: “That was fun. Some of these characters are so wild, and that was one of those moments. I actually had to watch the scene from the original episode just to hear the voice again, and ground myself in something real. That scene played wonderfully because of Danny [Huston] and the relationship that we had during that season. It really is a kind of wild and wonderful moment.”

The Train Level in Uncharted 2 is one of my favorite moments in any videogame, ever. It's still crazy to me that the locomotive is actually moving through a hand-crafted level. You and enemies react to swerving on the tracks and it makes combat super dynamic. It's nothing short of a technical achievement. For its time it was mind-blowing, and in many ways today it still is! 🚆

My Control Resonant review: This one's truly special. An open world action RPG by Remedy Entertainment 🔻CONTROL Resonant out now! (thanks for the early review code about two weeks ago) Currently 30+ hours in on PC. + amazing open world design and art direction + visual moments that belong in modern art museum + very unique atmosphere throughout the game + movement system with smoothness and sense of freedom that makes the open world an absolute joy to explore + true sense of discovery and exploration + no handholding, getting constantly lost in the game in a good way + puzzles are both smart and funny at the same time + combat is great once you have the right upgrades and it really gets going + one of the coolest bosses I've seen in a while - combat not great when under-leveled character (do side missions, get certain abilities first) - some bosses are really lacking (tho most are great) - could have more combat variety/abilities/enemy types - demanding for hardware - starts a bit slow I wasn't expecting much from this game when jumping in right after The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha (which were both awesome in different ways) and Wolverine (story for another day...) Control Resonant is my game of the year (so far). Started as an 8, and right now it's at 9.5 (highly recommend trying a controller which has 4 back buttons and mapping jump, dash and both attacks in those buttons. It's a game changer)

Story time. During the last song of the show this weekend we put some visuals up of my dog who recently passed. She had been by my side through everything including the last 14 years of my career. I thought I would feel ok when I saw her on screen, but it really caught me off guard and I got super overwhelmed on stage. I started to cry and turned my back to the crowd because it was too much for me. Little did I know that behind me everyone had raised their arms and by the time I turned around again I felt so held up and supported by everyone in the crowd. If you were there I just wanna say thank you. That was a real raw moment for me. RIP Molly

From dumping resources on me, having my own guardian angel- secretly following me around the world while camouflaged to protect me (I loved this). To carrying me through high level world events, cosplaying as me and giving me tours of their homesteads... I've seen so many moments like these across many live service games and it really should be highlighted just how incredible, friendly and welcoming some gaming spaces really are! 🕹️ Fallout

Have you played Droid Tycoon in Fortnite yet? I played it for 2 hours on my stream tonight and it was SO FUN!!! I literally can't wait to play it again. If you like Tycoon games this one is on a whole other level. Just the fact that it's Star Wars themed automatically makes it really cool to me but seriously the mechanics for how everything works is so amazing. The sound design is REALLY satisfying and awesome too. I'll be playing this on stream again on Sunday. I can't wait.
