HE’S LYING Notwithstanding solar and wind are not "clean energy", it’s an outright lie to claim there is a "global shift to clean energy". The data is clear - there is no "global shift" Globally the world is using more coal, more gas, more oil and more nuclear. It’s also using more solar and more wind and more of everything else - but globally solar and wind are not REPLACING fossil fuels - they are merely ADDITIONAL. Further, Australia is the only nation in world attempting to replace its fossil fuels with prominently intermittent weather dependent sources of energy - solar and wind. No other nation is doing it, because it’s uneconomic and will only impoverish a nation if foolishly attempted. Blackout Bowen’s lies must be called out, because they are going to destroy Australia.

What makes more sense? A 100-mile natural gas pipeline from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts that would immediately lower energy costs OR a massive wind farm 500 miles out in the Atlantic off the coast of Canada, plus a 700-mile transmission line through Maine and New Hampshire to deliver electricity that’s more expensive? Governor Healey is choosing the wind farm to appease climate activists. I’d choose the option that’s efficient, affordable, and actually helps Massachusetts families and businesses – the natural gas pipeline.

And because of that, we're going to generate about 500 gigawatts less energy in the next decade. The 500 gigawatts less energy in the next decade is pretty much exactly the amount of energy that we're going to need to meet rising demand. We are going to have energy shortages as a result of this legislation. Energy demand is soaring for the first time in decades, largely, not exclusively but largely because of A.I. data centers. And our best chance of meeting it in the next few years is with wind and solar, not oil and gas, even nuclear and geothermal are going to take awhile.
