According to him, there are certain life experiences which are crucial for the development of a person and must therefore not be forgone for education.

It's a very debatable topic. However, ultimately, the parents of the kid are the final decision makers. What's the rush to push the kid to complete school at this age? If there is an outlined plan, then it's okay. But if there's nothing of that sort, please one step at a time.
