Contrarian opinion: Pasolini was an atrocious poet, a mediocre filmmaker, a great essayist, and the best public intellectual Italy has had in 80 years.

The "petite bourgeois" - what a great couple of words.

He looks like William Dafoe

Comunismo en estado puro.

That’s rich coming from Pasolini. And, no, his oeuvre doesn’t approach the great Italian directors.

And into the sea The Sea of Rome Then murder me, In Ostia.

I do not agree: Pier’s Poetic legacy is of a sublime nature. And the Anthropological sign of his Art Works are LOVED with a globalizing character.

@johncusack Am I a corrupt person for teaching/reading the classical languages? Kinda obnoxiously high brow, right? But I spend my days with children in public schools learning “skibbity toilet rizz.” Does my knowledge of culture make me “corrupt” still?Am I too corrupt to know? Probably:)

"Hope is a word used by politicians."
