Hey guys, this is a sensitive topic and I tried to find two knowledgeable people to speak with to just hear both sides of the “history”. It seems like the world is split on this issue in a very extreme way and I always think speaking to people on “both sides” can be beneficial.

Both guests have spent much of their lives researching the history of Israel and Palestine and living in the area. This wasn’t an easy episode to make and I’m sure I missed things and could have done a better job asking questions but I did my best and there was only so much we could fit into the 2 hours.

I hope it helps provide some information so you can form your own opinions. Avoiding one side of a massive argument isn’t a good idea, ever.

For people with a short attention span. David and Norman both agree that Zionists came from Europe asking for Palestine to be split, David thinks Arab farmers and land owners are terrorists when they were getting hostile about an unknown person asking for their land to be split or they pack up and go live at a different part of the country. And Norman believes Arabs had a right to not want to split their land with the Zionists, they were already nice enough to take them in when everyone else wouldn’t that doesn’t mean they owe the Zionists land as well.

Disingenuous of Brog to compare the Palestinians struggle to Japan’s entering WW2 by attacking American interests. What US did was horrific but they didn’t expell the Japanese and occupy their country. There’s no justification for Israeli occupation so don’t use a pointless analogy.

Great video Mikhaila. @DavidKBrog proved the Zionists came from Europe asking for a country to split its land and talked about it as if it was ok, I don’t know if he thinks if that’s ok because of what Jews went through but that’s not how the world works. Imagine you owned land in Missouri that’s been in your family for generations and some people you don’t know want you to split your land or give up your land and move to another state. Now imagine you’re the the government of Palestine and these people you know are a big threat because of who’s backing them want you to split your country, how could you tell millions of people to move from one half of the country to another. Millions of people like the land owner in Missouri that has land that’s been in his family for generations, with not even an offer to buy it just pack up and go find a place in Michigan.

@normfinkelstein @DavidKBrog Prof. Norman Filkenstein really knows his history and you can see that by how he presented the depth of his knowledge of this conflict. Palestinians were never been given a chance.

@DavidKBrog @normfinkelstein Thank you, Prof Finkelnstain, for your courage to tell the truth. ❤️

@DavidKBrog @normfinkelstein Any chance you can mediate a conversation between Norman Finkelstein and your dad? That would be revealing.

@DavidKBrog @normfinkelstein Brog says there will be a few civilian casualties like it's not 1000+ toddlers and babies.
