Some years back at St. Joseph Nagalama in a Parents meeting I asked if any one worked at Kcca to know how many hard brushes and brooms they use to sweep the whole Kampala compared to each hard brush and broom brought by each student. They never requested them again.

where space meets sound

"The reason why Ugandans can’t successfully stand against bad leaders is because Ugandans are not good people themselves."

Important conversations indeed

Actually some Schools refuse the Tangible Reams and they request money instead. They be like we want to use same quality of Reams (To be bought by the School). Now you know what happens 😭

The country has no accountability at all levels 😂😂

They even ask for specific brand and they don't want you to label the ream. Oh they even tell some streams to bring ruled paper. Imagine a university student doesn't use a ream in a semester.

Someone gets an accident on the road, without any help people rushing to check pockets🤔🤔

Last term I was asked to buy a school choir uniform and pay transport for my daughter to go and sing in a sister school of where she studies from and I declined questioning the school where was the value for money.

This information Is important!!! @EPussycat51324 @Arinda_Benjami7 @bisaso_ism17979 @Geofrixmukasa @Crystalsarah29 @SarahBenice @florencenab @woundedUgandan @haffiizu Its our obligation as citizens to fix our country #TogetherWeCan

And that ream of papers is a requirement every term. Parents in 256 have seen days. If a school takes 500k or Shs1m from a parent per term, is it too much to ask that school to use at least 5% of tuition fees to cater for scholarstic materials?
