`convex dev` kinda sucks when you're playing with many different ideas at once. It's leaning very much to you having a single dev env. So I fixed that. Here's 3 agents working on the same "app" with their own local convex backend so they don't step on eachother's toes!

Inflation's still north of 3% right now and there's a lot of issues around that. It's very hard for the Fed to lower rates much more, and there's a big debate going on about that. With this idea of a 50-year mortgage, if you're 40, which is the average age of buying a home now, you're gonna be friggin' dead before the mortgage is paid off. So you're never gonna own the house. I don't like this 50-year idea. You're gonna pay so much interest to save 200 bucks a month. It's not a great idea. There is no country on earth with an economy like America. Why? Capitalism. Everybody's tried different ideas. They don't work. Why is it the number one economy after over 200 years? Capitalism. So let's just put that aside. Capitalism works. Now, if I were a woman today after reading that stuff, I'd be really pissed off. I hire based on merit. So if you look at my companies that I've invested in, I have every gender, every race. I got people from other planets working there. I don't care as long as you can do the job, I'll hire you.

Wow very easy to create a Codex Site with a Convex DB that your agent can write to. You can make a todo list app that is hosted on Codex Sites, then tell Codex to make a skill that allows the agent to WRITE/EDIT to that todo list db. And then in any chat you can add to your list. Here's example.

I'm now building Executor full time as a startup! The state of tool calling is a mess: - Everyone is using different agents - You have no idea what actions are going to run - Destructive actions are treated the same as normal Executor lets you set up everything once & use it with any agent. You're able to control what tools can be called, require approval on destructive actions, and invite your team to all use them. Under the hood, it's built on codemode to let you add thousands of tools with 0 context bloat. I've been using it for a month so far and it has completely changed how I interact with agents. There's so much to be built here, immediately next up on the roadmap is workspaces, skills, workflows, and generative ui. Everything is being built open source over at there's a lot more coming on an SDK to embed it into your own agents, a self hostable cloud app, and plugins There's an early beta version over at It's very early on - if you hit any bugs let me know and I'll get them fixed up, excited to share more as I build it!

The Codex app server was such a brilliant stroke of foresight that really doesn't get enough love Not only are you allowed to use your chatgpt account with any harness, but you can build your own apps directly on top of theirs. They just make building on and with codex such a great experience To demonstrate this utility, I want to highlight the kitty litter app, made by SIGKITTEN. Instead of having to build the entire harness, and all the infrastructure, he's plugged into the app server for a unified experience between mobile and dev machine. When I create a session on my computer, it's automatically available on my phone. All of the chats you see in this video automatically populated when we connected to the app server. All my skills. My agents. My sessions. My folders. My prompts. They're all ready to use - automatically. Because they're exposed by the app server, along with many other endpoints. It's a great ux/dx that really deserves some love. It's almost like they want you to build on top of their products ;) Btw Litter is great 👍

A woman’s husband was visited by their local JW’s. He usually doesn’t answer the door but this time de decided to try to irritate them so much that they leave on their own. Whatever they say, he misunderstands them on purpose and starts to rant on as if he’s senile. He’s so believable that she quickly tries to leave on several occasions and pretty much a runs off. He was very creative with his method this time. When the come to your house do you let them go on or do you find a creative way to avoid it also?
