cookie lyrics are related to korean culture when MHJ is in her teens, burning CD, if i'm not mistaken, korean use the term "bake", it was made with korean society in mind

idk why western fans keep overlooking that the song paired idea of burning CDs and baking cookies, which share the same conceptual verb in Korean “굽다”. it literally means to burn or to bake depending on the context

sm1 also brought up that when you burnt a cd and put it in your discman its similar to the way you flatten and bake cookies hence the term baking cds!!
