I have a Chevy Big Block in the garage that makes the most wonderful noise. But there is something fun about a Tesla Performance scooting you from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds with a quiet slight engine whirring noise under you.

Super cool. Starts off all sci-fi and quickly times into angry muscle car. Spicy sounding.

The false EV era us coming to an end. They are far more destructive and toxic to the environment than any petroleum/ecofueled vehicle. Their batteries not only enslave people to extract, but destroy the environment in the extraction area. Also, plant life on Earth depends on CO2, to continuously lower it, destroys the planets ecosystem...

Had this been our introduction to Hybrid EV's the reception might've been different.

I guess I'll live with the electric part too, and we're getting some cool racing, but the hybrid bits are just complications and raise the costs.
