Cooper Flagg on his ability to take over a game in a short stretch: “Just making plays, just impacting the game, not forcing anything but just taking what is there…Always staying with it, always staying positive…” On the AAC crowd: “I think they’ve been incredible, the fans have showed... show more

“I think we have not given the fans a lot to love. I think that’s part of it and I think we take a lot of responsibility on that and having lost the fans a little bit. I think had we given them a lot more to cheer for and be up for in the 4th quarter and be into it and given them more wins; I think we would have looked at it a little differently. I think we can take a lot of responsibility for that; but I mean the fans have been there. They were up tonight. They were huge, they were loud, they were positive. I just want to move forward and just wanna try to continue to give them things to be positive for and show up and be happy that they support us. I’m just happy they show up for us.” Cooper Flagg speaks on the Mavericks fan base and the support he felt tonight in the AAC.

Cooper Flagg on the AAC’s atmosphere despite not winning a home game since January 22: “The fans are still showing up for us. Obviously, we haven’t been great, and we haven’t given them a lot to show up for every single night and haven’t given them the wins, but I still have loved the support they’ve given me, given the team, and they’ve still showed up for us, and we just have to do a better job of giving them things to be happy for…”

Lane Lambert did not mince words tonight. “Terrible, terrible hockey game for our team. Terrible first 40 minutes… That was the worst 40 minutes we played all year.” On Shane Wright’s play and rumors: “I thought his game was good. It was really good tonight. I think his game's been good for a while. I think there's areas of Shane's game that we're working on that he's improved on a lot since the beginning of the year, the outside noise. The outside noise speculation is speculation. I have no idea, but my job is to make sure that he's ready to play, and I think he's playing well. And I thought he played well tonight.” #SeaKraken

Klay Thompson on the energy from fans tonight despite the “unique” start to the season in that regard: “I thought the energy was great…I thought the fans did a tremendous job giving us a boost, and we have to give them something to cheer for on a junky basis. We’re gonna put our best foot forward, I just know we will, and I can feel them ready to rally behind us. Been through a lot, so we want to give them a great product on the floor.”

Emanuel Sharp on the crowd noise at Iowa State’s Hilton Coliseum: “It’s not the crowd. Iowa State’s a good team, they have a good defense and so do we. I mean it was two good teams, it was 70-67. The crowd — maybe for them, maybe it helped them. We played our game, I thought we played hard and I thought we played smart. It’s just the way the cookie crumbles, they ended up on top.”

Q: Lewis, it looked like you were set for a good day, a great start, a great pass on Charles, ultimately the Ferrari did not seem to agree with those hard tyres. "Didn't agree with any of the tyres today, no, a very very hard race, I can tell you it was a really really tough race, one being extremely hot, so yeah I had, my start wasn't really very good to be honest, my getaway was poor but then I was on the attack, obviously got past Charles and I thought it wasn't looking too bad in the first few laps with George, I was kind of holding on for a second and then the rear just dropped off on every set, for some reason the balance was very open, very difficult and I think we, I mean on Friday we were down six tenths just in straight line speed, and I have to go and see what the case was today but I'm sure it was not insignificant, but also just grip wise we just couldn't keep up with everyone today, so a very tough one but I'm grateful for the points, the team did a great job with the strategy and with the pit stops, the boys worked so hard on the pit stops so we were proud of them and yeah, not the result we wanted but we got the points atleast." Miles on the physicality of a W game and what it was like being out there for the first time: “I don’t think this game was a fair test just because they’re a bunch of young rooks too, so it kind of was like playing against college girls who I literally were just playing against, so I’m excited to play like a vet, experienced, tested team. But nonetheless… they came out very strong. I thought Cotie was really great, setting the tone physically.”

"Amazing. I'm so, so happy. It's a good day of racing and overall just a really solid weekend. I felt on the up all weekend and the team have done a really amazing job just really refining the car and for us to be up there battling and also to have a good battle with Max as well, you know, finally. So I'm really, really grateful and yeah, just so, so happy. I love this job. It's like the greatest, it's the greatest show in the world and I'll never take that for granted."

Asked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander what was going through his mind as he sat on the bench down the stretch of a loss for the first time this season: “I could feel it out there, how the game was going. Just on both ends of the floor, (we were) not getting done what we need to get done. By that time the game is over. You just learn the lesson and chalk it up.”

Joe Mazzulla on the crowd tonight: “We have the phrase up there, ‘Different here,’ and it's the truth. I mean, it just is. From all levels… I thought that the crowd could have easily given up on us, deservingly so, and I thought they stuck with us and helped us.”

Caitlin on what she learned through injury this season: “I think when I get a few years down here in my career, I think this is a moment and a season I’ll look back on and be like, this why I am who I am today… It was hard sitting on the bench, I’m not going to lie, but I think it taught myself how to be a really good leader and how to be a really good teammate… when you’re on the sidelines and you don’t have your jersey on, you can observe and really learn about people… how can I show up every single day and pour into them and be there for them… but also going forward down the road, if I have a teammate that’s injured… I know I will always show up for them and be there for them and check in on them, because it is an incredibly isolating thing, and you don’t realize that until you go through it… I think all of that is probably what I’ve leaned most.” 🎥: Tony East

Kit Harington talked about joining HBO's HARRY POTTER and the Chamber of Secrets on Today: "When I knew this was happening as a series, I thought it was the best idea. I love the films, but with this, they can really explore the books at their fullest, and for a book nerd like me, that was a really great idea. So it was one that I had eyes on, I really wanted to be in it, and the part I’m playing is just the best."
