I'd go as far as saying that they actual want people to get hurt. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. They put the most vulnerable people on the front to confront agents while others film, hoping to capture a serious injury, or death.

The protest organizers want the activists to martyr themselves for the cause. To do this, they con naive idealists into believing they won't get hurt, even if they have a concealed gun. They use terms like "All means necessary". These protestors think its like LARPing or Cosplay. They think its just a performance. They take legal advice from TikTok. Like "They aren't allowed to touch you". And are shocked when they get tackled.
