I think the cop was very reasonable, not having a plate on your car especially on a bike is a valid and reasonable reason to stop someone

Had this happen to me in Amherst County Virginia in my El Camino. I let the tailgate down at a gas station and my plate was on tailgate. They searched me and my car and then waited for me to drive off private gas station lot

The cup was very nice. Didn’t raise his voice and did have reasonable cause for suspicion. Honestly, I didn’t know license plate could flip up like that so I’ve been suspicious too, but I don’t think the biker was necessarily wrong either.

Totally legit stop. Cops saw a bike without a visible plate that had clearly been ridden on the road. Guy had 100% been riding with plate flipped up. If I was the cop I’d have gone and got the gas stations cctv, would have soon dropped the smart ass attitude.
