Context switching is the silent killer of dev productivity, costing up to 40% of effective working time. Keeping the workflow inside the terminal's shell instead of jumping to a browser is a massive win for deep work.

Only thing better than a new interface is being told about it by the one and only @burkeholland !!

@github + @cursor_ai should add a collaboration feature. It would be amazing to have a simple way to help update, fix, improve, and protect friends’ or team projects directly inside the workflow.

10 weeks. No payment. No support. No solution. My company Taze is paralyzed because GitHub and Cloudflare reject my European credit card. The reason? A €0 verification transaction that my bank - and other European financial institutions - flag as FRAUD. Meanwhile, GitHub states on their payment page: "We may place a temporary hold on your payment method to verify its validity. This is not a charge." But in practice: my bank sees €0 as a scam. The transaction is blocked. My account is not activated. My business is stalled. This is not a customer service problem. This is an architecture problem. European PSD2 regulations require Strong Customer Authentication. €0 transactions do not meet these requirements. Yet American tech companies continue using this system, excluding European entrepreneurs. I have filed formal complaints with: - ACM (Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets) - ECC-Net (European Consumer Centre) The Digital Services Act (DSA) gives me the right to: - An adequate complaint procedure - A resolution within 15 working days@tweakers (Nederland) @TechCrunch (internationaal) @TheRegister (internationaal) @Wired (internationaal)- Compensation for damages @GitHub @Cloudflare: you have 48 hours to fix this permanently. Then we escalate publicly and legally. Do you recognize this problem? Share this post. European entrepreneurs should not be punished by a broken payment system. #PSD2 #DSA #SaaS #Taze #GitHub #Cloudflare #Europe #Entrepreneur #TechFail #DigitalServicesAct

Small UX wins like this matter more for daily adoption than another model benchmark. The friction of context switching is still one of the biggest hidden costs in AI-assisted workflows.

Voice input is the one I'm watching here. Talking to my terminal feels like a line I never thought I'd cross, but pulling up gists without alt-tabbing to the browser is the kind of small thing that actually saves my afternoon.

good for triage but complex pull requests still need browser diff tools

managing issues and prs without leaving the terminal is a nice workflow upgrade

the TUI is solid — finally actually usable vs the chat-only mode. staying in terminal for issues/PRs without tab-switching is real flow state stuff

Finally. The old CLI was basically unusable for anything beyond simple queries.
