🚨 One thing that has frustrated me with Tesla Full Self-Driving is that I find it will sometimes change lanes to overtake a car, but the lane it changes into either ends or goes against the navigation (for example, it will change into a straight lane when it needs to be in a turn lane) Inevitably, it has to get back over before the lane ends or to get into the correct lane, and it ends up in the same place it was initially. If there’s any car brand I truly admire and respect for its technology, it’s Lexus. I don’t even know how to describe it, their ideas are just wild. Take this 2024 Lexus LX600, for example. If you’re in Drive and you open the door and step out, the car automatically knows nobody is behind the wheel and it will refuse to move. It stops on its own and even warns you to shift into Park. That means the regular panic question on X “What if my brakes fail? doesn’t even apply here. Lexus has built in multiple layers of safety that older cars simply don’t have. The car literally protects you from yourself. Newer cars are smarter. Can your car do this? 😂💀
