I had a similar experience from the early 60's & 70's with a heavy equipment manufacturer known then as Lectra Haul. These days they use MG sets (motor-generator) IMO to keep this notion hidden and to ensure the longevity of the US petro-dollar. Or, perhaps I'm wrong
