If you walk around with a rifle, you’re going to scare people and they’re gonna have all reason to call the cops. Keep your rifle in your car or truck, and if you have a handgun conceal it if it’s legal to conceal it, or keep it in your holster. Walking on a city street carrying an assault rifle and refusing to cooperate with the cops should land you in jail, There are limits in the Constitution. The right to bear arms was written before mass shootings in schools, churches, malls etc.

I don’t understand why this guy refuses to cooperate when the officers are being so polite and respectful. Yes, everyone has rights, and we all understand that, but the police aren’t there to cause problems for him, they’re there to do their job and help keep everyone safe. My opinion as someone who has open carried myself and walked into public places looking like a cowboy strapping a fully holstered .45 (a much smaller less imposing looking weapon) I’m tellin ya, doing what this guy is doing, is not good tact, it’s not good form, and is completely unnecessary. I am about as pro 2nd amendment as you can get and I can tell you there’s no other reason for carrying a semiautomatic combat rifle around on your person randomly out in public other than for selfish reasons, drawing attention, or putting on a show. It’s a vain narcissistic thing to do, and is not culturally accepted as a more in most parts of this country like it is in Israel. The AR-15 and its types are a rather large mean looking imposing combat rifle. Its place is in your house for defense or on the battlefield. It has no business being toted around like this is Israel. We aren’t under constant and continual threat, we aren’t surrounded by our enemies, and there are not going to be any October 7 here. In addition sadly countless YouTube videos exist of people going nuts wielding their AR-15 and engaging their community and police with battlefield level gunfire. Any reasonable normal thinking person would understand based on society being replete with examples of individuals using their AR-15s and other combat rifles to commit heinous violent crimes that they don’t know you, or know what you’re going to do, all they know is you’re carrying around a weapon that could turn their insides into mush with one pull of a trigger. So you live in a country where you can walk down the street and visually tell everyone I am the ultimate badass state of the badass art. Well whopdi fuckin doo hey I’m impressed how about learning some tact and communal manners instead much more difficult and impressive yeah?
